Sywell Village Hall
Sywell Village Hall is a beautiful Grade 11 listed building located in the heart of the old village adjacent to the church. The building was established in 1864 as the original Sywell village school. After the school had relocated, and following a refurbishment programme, the building became used by the community as a village hall in the 1980s. It has been used as a village hall now for over 25 years and has served the local community very well.

The hall is run by a dedicated committee of local residents whose responsibility is to maintain this beautiful building for the benefit of everyone living in Sywell and its surrounding areas. It is maintained to a high standard so that it can continue to benefit future generations in the village. The committee is pleased to have recently been awarded a Hallmark Certificate. This quality standard scheme recognises well managed village halls. We are grateful for the financial support we have received in the past from both Wellingborough Borough Council and Northamptonshire County Council. Most recently we have been fortunate to receive a grant from the Grassoots Grants Fund, managed by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation.
The committee is always looking for new members and if you are interested in helping out then please contact the Secretary, Jean Herrick, on 01604 643009.
