Moulton Library is under threat of closure

We need to act now

Moulton Library is one of the libraries threatened with closure as part of Northamptonshire County County Council’s Budget Review. Moulton library is at the heart of the local community and we need to keep it open. The library also houses the Daventry District Council Information service which is open every Monday from 1-5pm and hosts the Northants Police/Parish Surgeries which are held every 3 weeks.

We need everyone to help save this valuable community asset and prevent Moulton village from losing its library. Please take the time to write and object to the closure of our library.

Please visit the website www.northamptonshire.gov.uk/youchoose and:

Email your objection to: youchoose@northamptonshire.gov.uk and:

Sign the e-petition ‘keep Moulton Library Open - we need it!’

Or write to:

You Choose, Northamptonshire County Council, PO Box 93, County Hall, Northampton, NN1 1AN

Sample letters can be found at moultonparishcouncil.org.uk

Objection letters can also be left at the library.

Emails and letters of objection need to be sent into NCC by February 5th at the latest. The e-petition needs to be signed by 8th February.

Library Services Manager, Grace Kempster, will be attending Moulton Library on Saturday 29th January between 10am - 12pm. Please come and have your say at this drop-in session.
